FUNDRAISING EVENTS

2023 Biaggio Signorelli Foundation 15 Year Gala Dinner, White Bay Cruise Terminal
2,000 people gathered for a night of ‘Pure Imagination’ raising $1.8 million to end Asbestos cancer.
The Biaggio Signorelli Foundation 15 Year Tribute Gala was one to remember! An empty passenger terminal was transformed into a night of ‘Pure Imagination’ – with 2,000 guests treated to world-class food and entertainment. Working alongside the Signorelli family and the brilliant Doltone House team, the event raised an eye watering $1.8 million to put an end to asbestos cancer and dust diseases.
The event was headlined by Guy Sebastian, Jimmy Barnes, Mitch Tambo and Mark Vincent. The MC for the evening was the formidable Richard Wilkins, welcoming an impressive line-up of speakers to the stage including NSW Premier Chris Minns and Minister the Hon Tony Burke. Fundraising efforts on the night included a car raffle (with a sporty new BMW up for grabs!) and even an auction to name a street in Western Sydney.

LAUNCHES

YES! National Campaign Launch event
A polarising topic, for sure, but everyone can agree on one thing – the YES! launch event was run flawlessly!
The YES! Campaign engaged GoodEvents to run its official national launch event in Adelaide. The event was attended by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, SA Premier Peter Malinauskas and some of Australia’s leading voices from First Nations communities.
A 60+ person media scrum captured all the action of the day, saturating the national media cycle for over 24 hours. The Good team managed all aspects of the event – from the venue, to the 400+ guests, VIPs, AV liaison, security, Auslan interpreters and media. This one came right down to the wire, it relied on plenty of quick thinking, problem solving, late night crams and early morning bump-ins!

PR ACTIVATIONs

Cancer Council phone booth build
Pop-up activation in Sydney’s CBD to promote Cancer Council NSW’s ‘Here for Life’ campaign.
The brief: To highlight Cancer Council’s vital 13 11 20 information and support phone service for anyone impacted by cancer.
The outcome: We built a phone booth from scratch and popped it up at the Queen Victoria Building’s forecourt! From the build, to the budget and everything in- between (including public liability insurance, of course), this was a hugely successful activation, with massive media to match!

CONFERENCES

Chifley Research Centre
Conferences putting big issues on the national agenda.
We love a good conference, and so does the Chifley Research Centre! Since 2019, Chifley has trusted GoodEvents with all its major events. The 2023 Chifley Conference was held at the National Press Club in Canberra.
The event played host to an impressive line-up of international speakers, as well as a keynote address from the Prime Minister. We managed all aspects of the two-day event – venue, invitations, RSVPs, security, talent-management, programs… the lot!

GOVERNMENT RELATIONS

FreeTV Annual Government Relations events
Every year since 2018, FreeTV Australia has engaged GoodEvents to run its annual Government Relations event in Parliament House, Canberra.
With a different theme and focus each year, FreeTV annually brings together its stakeholders, partners and talent in an effort to advocate for policy changes. These Government Relations events focus on issues that require the attention of Government, as well as providing opportunities to network with members of Parliament and their staff.
Typically, these events are held as cocktail functions in Parliament House, but we have also hosted a number of forum-style events within Parliament Committee Rooms. Good manages all aspects of these events, from invitations to RSVPs, venue and AV management, as well as post-event bookings and transport for VIPs.
